| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Secondary Education's letter dated October 14, 2021, Ref: 1100126701A. |
| 2. | The aforementioned seminar organized by the British Council aims to support the development and implementation of Taiwan's bilingual nation policy through the sharing of British expertise and experience. The relevant seminar topics are as follows: |
| (1) | Case studies of English as a subject training - Japan research case. |
| (2) | Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). |
| (3) | Bilingual/Multilingual Education. |
| (4) | Creating professional spaces to foster teaching development. |
| 3. | Information regarding registration for the aforementioned online seminar is as follows: |
| (1) | Time: November 2, 2021 (Tuesday), 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM (3 hours of professional development will be awarded for full participation). |
| (2) | Format: Online synchronous meeting with step-by-step Chinese and English interpretation provided. |
| (3) | Participants: National Development Council, Ministry of Education, National Academy for Educational Research, Department of Secondary Education, County/City Education Bureaus, English Guidance Teams, and principals, directors, and teachers from all levels of schools. |
| (4) | Registration Method: Online registration at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SGWSSWF. Upon completion of registration, the organizer will email the Microsoft Teams meeting room link. |
| (5) | Registration Deadline: October 25, 2021 (Monday). |
| 4. | This bureau approves teachers from municipal schools to attend the aforementioned seminar with official (business) leave, provided that their regular duties are covered. Private schools should handle this matter according to their own authority. |
