To inform you about the implementation methods of the National Academy of Governance's (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) various promotional activities for civil servant book reading in 2022.

Details:
1. In accordance with the Academy's official letter No. 1100800202 dated December 29, 2021, and with one copy of the original letter (including attachments) attached.

2. Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Academy's reading promotion activities in 2022, including "Monthly Book Selection," "National Regional Reading Sessions," and "Book Reading Reflection Writing and Reading Promotion Competition," have been adjusted as follows:
(1) The 12 "Monthly Books" and 12 "Recommended Extended Readings" selected in 2021 will continue to be promoted in 2022.
(2) The "Book Reading Reflection Writing and Outstanding Agency Competition for Reading Promotion" in 2022 has been canceled. The "Book Reading Reflection Writing Competition" in 2020 has been postponed to June 2022 for submissions.
(3) The preferential book purchase program for civil servants in 2021 (7.1% discount) will be extended until December 31, 2022. Colleagues are welcome to visit the convenient services section of the Academy's global information website (https://www.nacs.gov.tw), click on "Download Zone," select the order form of any publisher, and contact them directly for ordering and payment. However, if the total purchase amount does not reach the specified amount (depending on the regulations of each vendor), shipping fees will be charged separately.

3. Regarding the book reading reflection writing in 2021, the Taoyuan City Government has completed the collection of submissions and selected the top 15 outstanding works. The list of authors for these works has been announced in the latest news section of the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Personnel website (https://personnel.tycg.gov.tw).
