| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare, dated January 11, 111 (2022), Ref: 1100260042. |
| II. | To address the aging society, promote healthy aging, and reduce the risk of frailty and disability among the elderly, the Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare, integrated cross-ministerial resources for the "Training of Trainers for Prevention and Delay of Disability" in 110 (2021) and the demand for trainers in various settings. They established the "Training Management System for Trainers for Prevention and Delay of Disability" (https://healthtraining.hpa.gov.tw/; linked from the homepage of the Administration's official website) and completed the pilot online training for Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE). |
| III. | In 111 (2022), to assist in the overall implementation and operation of community-based service points, medical institutions, and the 266 programs approved by the Ministry of Health and Welfare's "Plan for Prevention and Delay of Disability Care" in 110 (Attachment 2), individuals who already possess trainer qualifications from the Long-Term Care Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Administration's "Trainers for Prevention and Delay of Disability," and the Sports Administration, Ministry of Education's "Intermediate Trainers for National Physical Fitness" will have their qualifications unaffected. In 111 (2022), they can continue to teach at community-based service points (including community care centers, neighborhood long-term care stations, family caregiver support service points, senior health promotion stations, Evergreen Academies, and Silver Fitness Clubs, etc.) and medical institutions. |
| IV. | To provide community-based service points and medical institutions with the human resources of the aforementioned trainers and to enhance the quality of services for promoting senior health, the Administration continues to open the "Training Management System for Trainers for Prevention and Delay of Disability." Trainers can complete the online courses and pass the post-course quizzes by June 30, 111 (2022), to obtain an electronic training certificate. |
