The 2021 influenza vaccination program, starting January 6, 2022, has expanded its scope to include all individuals nationwide who are 6 months or older and have not yet been vaccinated, until the vaccine supply is exhausted.

Subject: To inform that the 110th influenza vaccination program has expanded its scope of recipients to include all individuals aged 6 months and above who have not yet been vaccinated, starting from January 6th of this year (111) until the vaccines are depleted. Please be advised.
Details:  
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's letter dated January 13, 111, No. TAI-EDU-SEC-ACAD-1110005454.
2. To maximize the benefits of the public influenza vaccine, starting from January 6th of this year, the vaccination recipients have been expanded to include 'all individuals aged 6 months and above who have not yet been vaccinated within the nation, provided they possess Republic of China nationality. Foreign nationals must hold a residence permit (including diplomatic, international organization, and foreign organization official identification cards).'
3. This bureau approves faculty and staff with a need for influenza vaccination to receive it off-campus during their self-managed class time, granting them half a day of official leave. We request your school to verify the vaccination status of such personnel according to your authority.
4. There should be a 7-day interval between influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination. A list of contracted medical institutions providing vaccinations can be found and appointments can be made by visiting the homepage of the Municipal Health Bureau website (https://dph.tycg.gov.tw/index.jsp) > Business Information > Preventive Vaccination > Preventive Vaccination (Influenza Vaccine).
5. Foreign students who have obtained residency permits and are awaiting their official residence cards may use temporary paper residence permits or the receipt for their residence permit application as proof of residency during the expanded vaccination period of the 110th influenza vaccination program to receive the public influenza vaccine. However, for those not eligible for National Health Insurance, the vaccination administration fee shall be borne by the institution, paid by the individual, or covered by the vaccination unit.
