In view of the severe crisis facing the preservation of most national languages in Taiwan, the Ministry of Culture, in response to "World Mother Language Day," and to promote the importance of national language revitalization and development, enhance awareness and sense of honor, and increase opportunities for use, will hold the "2022 World Mother Language Day - National Language and Culture Living Festival" from February 18th to 20th this year (111), from 11 AM to 6 PM, at the Taiwan Literature Base. The aim is to showcase the diversity of languages and encourage the public to use national languages in their daily lives. |
