Announcement Compilation

The Social and Family Affairs Administration of the Ministry of Health and Welfare held the 110th Children's Day "Children's Hearts Together, Equal Treatment" Children's Rights Drawing Competition.

Description:  
I. In accordance with the letter No. 1110660165 dated February 16, 111, from the Social and Family Affairs Administration (hereinafter referred to as the SFSA) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
II. To promote the philosophy and spirit of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the SFSA plans to organize the aforementioned event, inviting preschool, elementary, and junior high school children and adolescents to submit their works. Teaching materials and worksheets will also be designed for teachers to incorporate into their teaching activities, guiding students to understand the issue of non-discrimination and learn to respect differences.
III. The event details are as follows:
(1) Event website: https://reurl.cc/GoGqxd.
(2) Event purpose: Through a drawing competition, encourage schools at all levels to promote the issues of children's rights and non-discrimination awareness, foster students' understanding, participation in discussions, and creative expression, and create a friendly society.
(3) Organizer: Social and Family Affairs Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare; Executor: United Daily News Online Co., Ltd.
(4) Drawing theme: With "non-discrimination" as the core concept, through "four-panel comics, theme posters, and creative coloring," children can explore their rights.
(5) Event time and method: Submit works and work information cards by registered mail from now until March 11, 111. Online registration must also be completed. The mailing date will be based on the postmark. Works must be delivered to the receiving address by 4:00 PM on March 15, 111, at the latest. Late submissions will not be accepted.
(6) Eligibility: Junior elementary and preschool group (including 2nd grade and below, kindergartens, or children not yet enrolled in school), upper elementary group (grades 3-6), and junior high school group.
(7) Award announcement: The list of winners will be announced on March 31, 111.
(8) Awards: For the upper elementary group and junior high school group, first to fourth place and six honorable mentions will be awarded. First to fourth place winners will each receive a trophy, a certificate, and prize money. First prize is NT$10,000, second prize is NT$6,000, third prize is NT$3,000, and fourth prize is NT$2,000. Each honorable mention will receive a certificate and NT$1,000. For the junior elementary and preschool group, ten honorable mentions will be awarded, each receiving a certificate and NT$1,000.
