To inform you about the recruitment of polling station staff for the 2022 local public office elections in Guishan District, Taoyuan City.

Details:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Election Commission dated February 21, 2022, No. 110000160.

2. The local public office elections are scheduled to be held on November 26, 2022 (Saturday). In accordance with the Executive Yuan's letter dated November 9, 1983, No. 19831109-72-Ren-Zheng-Can-Zi-30519, election staff participating in election affairs will be granted one day of compensatory leave. The remuneration for polling station staff will be paid according to the standards set forth in the "Remuneration Standards for Election Work" approved by the Executive Yuan's letter dated May 24, 2021, No. 1104000322. For elections involving three types of ballots, the remuneration will be NT$3,400 for the chief administrator, NT$2,800 for the chief supervisor, NT$2,200 for the administrator, and NT$1,800 for supervisors and reserve staff.

3. In accordance with Articles 58 and 59 of the Public Officials Election and Recall Act, the chief administrator, chief supervisor, and more than half of the administrators at polling stations must be current civil servants and public school teachers. The Election Commission may request recommendations from government agencies and public schools at all levels for appointment. Government agencies, public schools, and their staff who are requested to recommend or are appointed shall not refuse.

4. Attached is the registration form for polling station staff for the 2022 local public office elections in Guishan District. Colleagues who are interested in participating as polling station staff should fill out the registration form and scan or photograph it.
