Announcement Compilation

To handle the 2022 local elections, we welcome colleagues from our university to serve as election staff in Longtan District. Details are as follows.

To facilitate the 111th year local public office election, we welcome colleagues from our school to serve as election staff in Longtan District. Details are as follows.

Details:
1. In accordance with the Taoyuan City Election Commission's letter No. 1110000092 dated January 20, 111.

2. The election for mayors of special municipalities, city councilors of special municipalities, county magistrates, county councilors, township/town/city chiefs, chiefs of indigenous districts in special municipalities, township/town/city representatives, representatives of indigenous districts in special municipalities, and village chiefs, etc., in the 111th year, has been decided by the 568th meeting of the Central Election Commission to be held on November 26, 111 (Saturday).

3. In accordance with the Executive Yuan's letter No. 30519 dated November 9, 1983, election staff participating in election duties will be granted one day of compensatory leave. The remuneration for polling station staff will be paid according to the standards set in the "Remuneration Standards for Election Staff of the Central Election Commission" approved by the Executive Yuan's letter No. 1104000322 dated May 24, 110. The number of ballots for this election in Longtan District is 3 (for mayor, city councilor, and village chief). The remuneration is NT$3,400 for the chief administrator, NT$2,800 for the chief supervisor, and NT$2,200 for the administrator (excluding the NT$200 training fee).

4. According to Articles 58 and 59 of the Public Officials Election and Recall Act, the chief administrator, chief supervisor, and more than half of the administrators at each polling station must be current civil servants (broadly defined). We encourage current civil servants to volunteer as polling station staff in Longtan District.

5. If colleagues wish to register as individuals, please fill out the registration data card (Attachment 3) with complete personal information, obtain signatures from your unit supervisor, HR supervisor, and the head of your agency/school, and then submit the hard copy in person, by mail, or by fax to the Longtan District Office. The Longtan District Office will then assign you to a suitable polling station and position.

6. Attached are the staffing allocation table for polling stations in Longtan District for the 111th year local public office election, the recommendation roster, and the registration data card, each in one copy.
