| I. | In accordance with the letter from Formosa University dated March 10, 111 (2022), No. 1110030185. |
| II. | The relevant information for the aforementioned plan is as follows (see implementation plan for details): |
| (1) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | Students of public and private junior high and elementary schools in this city. |
| 2. | Those who have previously received the Character Education Practice Award are not eligible to apply again within 3 years. |
| (2) | Selection Criteria: This award does not prioritize academic achievement as the highest indicator. Instead, it is based on the fundamental principles of diligence and simplicity, combined with the core virtues of care, honesty, fairness, responsibility, and respect from the Character Education Partnership (CEP) in the United States. Students with outstanding character and concrete deeds that serve as role models for the school, and whose academic performance is above 80 points, will be selected. |
| (3) | Awards: |
| 1. | After the selection results are determined, an award ceremony will be held in mid-October 111 (2022). |
| 2. | Award amounts for winning students: |
| (1) | Practice Award: A certificate and a NT$3,000 bookstore gift certificate. |
| A. | Junior High: The bureau will separately request the school to award one commendation. |
| B. | Elementary School: Schools will reward students according to their authority and in the most favorable manner as encouragement. |
| (2) | Excellence Award: A certificate and a NT$1,000 bookstore gift certificate. |
| A. | Junior High: The bureau will separately request the school to award two commendations. |
| B. | Elementary School: Schools will reward students according to their authority and in the most favorable manner as encouragement. |
| (3) | Merit Award: A certificate. |
| A. | Junior High: The bureau will separately request the school to award one commendation. |
| B. | Elementary School: Schools will reward students according to their authority and in the most favorable manner as encouragement. |
| 3. | Award for supervising teachers: In accordance with the "Regulations on Performance Evaluation of Principals of Public Senior High Schools and Below," "Regulations on Performance Evaluation of Teachers of Public Senior High Schools and Below," and "Guidelines for Awards and Punishments for Faculty and Staff of Municipal Schools and Kindergartens in Taoyuan City," the awards for teachers (supervising teachers) recommended for this case are as follows: |
| (1) | Supervising teacher of a student who receives the Practice Award: One commendation and one certificate per person. |
| (2) | Supervising teacher of a student who receives the Excellence Award: Two outstanding performance certificates and one certificate per person. |
| (3) | Supervising teacher of a student who receives the Merit Award: One certificate per person. |
| (4) | Recommendation Timeline: |
| 1. | Recommend eligible outstanding students by June 10, 111 (Friday). Each school can recommend up to 5 students. |
| 2. | Schools are requested to submit written materials (one copy of the dedicated application form, which must be personally written by the recommending teacher), supporting evidence of achievements, etc., to the Education and Promotion Group of the Formosa University Museum of Cultural Heritage by the deadline (mailing applications will be based on the postmark).
