| 1. | Based on the email from the Secretariat of the Municipal Government dated March 15, 110. |
| 2. | Sister Cities International (SCI) was established to promote citizen diplomacy in the United States, build foreign development for the US, and establish global partnerships between cities. Currently, its members include 2,121 counties and cities from 145 countries across 6 continents, with over 10,000 citizen diplomats and volunteers involved, making it the largest citizen diplomacy organization globally. Our city joined in 109. |
| 3. | The details of the competition are as follows: |
| (1) | Theme: Generational Rescue - Sustainable Water Resources for All. |
| (2) | Eligibility: Students aged 13 to 18. |
| (3) | Submission Deadline: April 1, 111. |
| (4) | There are 6 categories for submission: Classical Art, Digital Art, Photography, Essay (English), Poetry (English), Original Music (up to 4 minutes). |
| (5) | Each city can nominate a maximum of 5 participants per category, and each participant can only enter one category. |
| (6) | The top 3 winners in each category will receive cash prizes from SCI: |
| 1. | 1st Prize: NT$28,000 (approx. USD 1,000) |
| 2. | 2nd Prize: NT$7,000 (USD 250) |
| 3. | 3rd Prize: NT$2,800 (USD 100) |
| (7) | The list of winners will be announced during the Youth Leadership Summit from June 18 to June 25, 111. |
| 4. | The winners will be announced at the SCI Annual Conference on July 8th of this year and will also be published on the SCI website, social media, and other platforms. |
