2022 Competitions for Culturally-Oriented and Bilingual Teaching Assessment Design

| Subject: | Forwarding the announcement from the Language Training and Testing Center (hereinafter referred to as the "Testing Center") regarding the "111 Literacy-Oriented and Bilingual Teaching Assessment Design Selection Activity," which has a submission deadline of April 8, 111. | 1. | In accordance with the official letter from the Language Training and Testing Center dated March 15, 111, with reference number 111研學字第0000000004. |
| 2. | To promote the implementation of the 12-year basic education curriculum guidelines emphasizing literacy, the Testing Center launched the Literacy-Oriented English Question Design Selection Activity in 108. Starting from 111, in response to the new trend of bilingual teaching, this activity has been renamed the "Literacy-Oriented and Bilingual Teaching Assessment Design Selection." In addition to the original "Literacy-Oriented English Question Design Group," a new "Subject-Oriented Bilingual Assessment Group" has been added, encouraging teachers in Taiwan who teach in English (CLIL, EMI, or other English-taught modes) to explore creative assessment designs. |
| 3. | The target participants for the aforementioned activity are current teachers in elementary, junior high, and senior high/vocational schools in Taiwan. Participants can register as individuals or in groups (up to three people). Award winners will receive cash prizes and certificates. |
