111 Academic Year Subsidy Program for Environmental Education Activities in Taoyuan City Elementary and Junior High Schools

Description:  
I. Taoyuan City (hereinafter referred to as "the City") currently has 30 environmental education facilities. To implement the localized teaching concept of environmental education, provide junior and senior high school teachers with links for designing environmental education courses and extension activities, and enhance the educational functions of environmental education facilities, with the aim of effectively improving the City's environmental education standards and promoting the concept of sustainable development through outdoor learning experience courses, this subsidy program is hereby established.
II. The key points of the aforementioned subsidy program are as follows:
(1) Eligible Applicants: Subsidize junior and senior high school students and faculty and staff in the City to conduct environmental education programs at environmental education facilities in the City, fulfilling the legal requirement of at least 4 hours of environmental education per year.
(2) Subsidy Conditions and Amounts:
1. Participate in at least one environmental education facility in the City for environmental education courses. Applications are accepted on a "school" basis. The maximum subsidy per vehicle is NT$10,000 (including transportation and insurance). If the school has its own transportation, it can be exchanged for equivalent DIY activities, souvenirs, etc.
2. The maximum subsidy amount for unit applications (each trip must have at least 20 participants) is NT$100,000.
3. Applicant units must comply with Article 18 of the Environmental Education Act by establishing designated personnel for environmental education, and complete the system reporting within one month after the project ends in accordance with Article 19 of the Environmental Education Act.
(3) Application Period and Method:
1. Application Period: From March 2022 to October 2022. If the allocated funds are not fully utilized, further announcements will be made.
2. Application Method: Apply online through the "Taoyuan City Environmental Education Global Information Network". Application URL: https://tydep-eew.com.tw/act.php.
III. The aforementioned subsidy program corresponds to the 5th recommendation indicator of the "Taoyuan City Environmental Education Award Program for Schools at All Levels": "Utilize Taoyuan City's 'Certified Environmental Education Venues' for environmental education. Each session is worth 1 point, with a maximum of 10 points."
IV. The Environmental Protection Bureau of the City Government has commissioned "Dingze Technology Co., Ltd."
