Indigenous Languages Certification Training Implementation Plan

| Subject: | Regarding the "Implementation Plan for Indigenous Language Certification Training for Teachers in Senior High Schools and Below" forwarded by the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (hereinafter referred to as the Department), please encourage teachers from your school to actively participate. Please acknowledge receipt. |
| Explanation: |
| 1. | In accordance with the Department's letter No. TPE-EDU-SEC-ORIG-1110042868, dated March 31, 111 (2022). |
| 2. | The Department has planned the aforementioned training program to assist current teachers in obtaining advanced certification in Indigenous languages, thereby meeting the demand for native language teachers in various schools. |
| 3. | The Department has commissioned National Tainan University to conduct the aforementioned training courses sequentially starting from January 111 (2022). Please actively recommend teachers from your school to participate in the Indigenous Language Certification Coaching Classes (4th and 5th cohorts). The training times for each cohort are as follows: |
| (1) | Fourth Cohort: June 11 (Sat), June 12 (Sun), June 18 (Sat), June 19 (Sun), June 25 (Sat), 111 (2022), totaling 5 days and 35 hours; Indigenous Language Class (Bunun 1 class) for 100 people. |
| (2) | Fifth Cohort: July 4 (Mon) to July 8 (Fri), 111 (2022), totaling 5 days and 35 hours; Indigenous Language Class (Truku 1 class) for 100 people. |
| 4. | Registration Method: |
| (1) | Current teachers in senior high schools and below (including substitute and temporary teachers) who are interested in participating should complete the online registration on the "National In-service Teacher Education Information Network" (https://www4.inservice.edu.tw/) from April 25, 111 (2022) to May 20, 111 (2022). |
| (2) | After the registration deadline, participants will be admitted in order based on the submitted registration lists. Admitted participants will receive an email confirmation from the National In-service Teacher Education Information Network. Schools should grant teachers official leave (or business leave) to attend based on this confirmation. |
| (3) | Please provide accurate contact information (including mobile phone number and email address) during registration for subsequent communication. |
| (4) | The codes for each class, cohort, and training session will be announced in the latest news section of the CIRN "Senior High School Native Language Education Resource Center" webpage. The link is as follows: https://cirn.moe.edu.tw/WebNews/index.aspx?sid=1195&mid=13150. |
