Information regarding the 111th year Hokkien Language Proficiency Test

| Subject: | To inform you about the Ministry of Education's 2022 Hokkien Language Proficiency Certification Exam. We encourage teachers, local language teaching support staff, students, and community college faculty and students to apply. Please acknowledge receipt. |

| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter dated April 1, 2022, Ref: Tai Jiao She (4) Zi Di 1112401754. |
| 2. | To encourage the public to learn Hokkien and to enhance teachers' professional competence and students' language skills, the Ministry of Education is holding the aforementioned certification exam. |
| 3. | Key details of the certification exam are as follows: |
| (1) | This year, the exam will be held for the first time with "separate papers on separate days." Paper A will be tested on August 6, 2022 (Saturday), and Papers B and C will be tested on August 7, 2022 (Sunday). However, the exam format remains unchanged, with each person allowed to register for only one paper. Please pay close attention when registering. |
| (2) | Online registration will be open from 9:00 AM on April 11, 2022, to 5:00 PM on May 6, 2022. Group registration services are also available. To encourage student participation, candidates aged 19 and under are exempt from the registration fee. |
| (3) | The Ministry of Education offers additional incentives for group registrations. We encourage your school to actively assist students with group registration. The group representative has a chance to win exclusive commemorative gifts for the exam (limited to 500 sets). Prizes will be awarded sequentially based on the highest number of participants in group registrations. The General Examination Center will announce the list of winners on the official certification website in early July 2022 and will mail the prizes in mid-July 2022. Additionally, for group registrations exceeding 30 participants, the Bureau will award the school's group registration coordinator with a commendation or a certificate of merit (one of the two), as a token of appreciation. |
