Subject: Attached is the "Soil and Water Conservation Drama Volunteer Selection Activity Brochure" from the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau of the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan. Please assist in notifying affiliated storytelling volunteer mothers to actively register. Please acknowledge receipt.
Explanation:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau of the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan, dated April 18, 111 (2022), Ref: Shui Bao Qi Zi No. 1111859464.
2. To inspire more soil and water conservation promotion seeds, and to ensure that the outreach and effectiveness of soil and water conservation continue to spread to every corner, this activity aims to select outstanding local teams from diverse fields to perform in different local settings, co-creating a soil and water conservation science popularization theater, and expanding and deepening related knowledge and concepts in the minds of the public.
3. This activity primarily targets volunteer groups aged 18 and above in related fields. It actively encourages and develops more existing volunteer groups (non-soil and water conservation volunteers and field-specific groups) dedicated to storytelling performances in local settings, including regular storytelling volunteers at local libraries, storytelling mothers at school morning sessions, storytelling performance volunteers from community organizations, and performance groups from university clubs. The activity brochure provides a concise explanation as follows:
(1) Broad Age Range: Students and the public aged 18 and above (born before July 1, 1993) are invited to form teams and participate (including local soil and water conservation volunteers from the Bureau's branches and partner units, storytelling volunteers from county and city libraries, volunteers from picture book parent-child centers, volunteers from environmental education centers, school storytelling mothers, and performance groups from the private sector).
(2) Mentorship and Improvement: Teams selected after the preliminary review will receive basic drama performance skills training from professional instructors and guidance on performance details to help them refine their performances.
(3) Subsidy Mechanism: Selected teams will be chosen through a final review process, with a maximum of 12 teams selected. They will receive certificates of award and relevant subsidies (including props production, transportation costs, etc.), amounting to NT$6,000 per team.
(4) Value-Added Promotion: Teams participating in the "Soil and Water Conservation Drama Volunteer Selection" and receiving awards in the finals must cooperate with the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau to conduct one picture book promotion performance (the performance area will be arranged based on the registration area of the selected 12 teams or their preferred performance areas; the actual location will be arranged by the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau). A performance fee of NT$3,000 will be provided per team per performance for these promotional events.
4. Online registration is required for this activity. Participants should visit the activity website (https://dingze.com.tw/swcb-book/index.html) to register contact information, upload the activity registration form, and provide a YouTube link to their performance video. The registration deadline is July 31st. For any related inquiries, please contact Ding Ze Technology Co., Ltd. at (04) 23580613 ext. 11, Mr. Huang.
