2022 Taoyuan Astronomy Carnival

Subject: Regarding the "2022 Taoyuan Astronomy Carnival" group guided tour event organized by National Central University from July 11th to 15th, 111th year of the Republic of China (2022), please encourage your school to register and participate. Please be informed.
Explanation:  
1. Based on the official letter from National Central University dated April 14th, 111th year of the Republic of China (2022), reference number Zhongda Litianzi No. 1113200147.
2. The purpose of the aforementioned event is to implement the science education philosophy of Taoyuan City, encourage public participation in astronomy science education, and aspire for Taoyuan City to become an astronomy city, serving as a leader in Taiwan's astronomy education.
3. The details of the aforementioned event are as follows:
(1) Date: July 11th to 15th, 111th year of the Republic of China (2022).
(2) Location: National Central University.
(3) Groups and Quotas:
1. Elementary School Group: Primarily for elementary school teachers and students, limited to 30 teachers and students per school. For details, please refer to the group registration brochure for the elementary school group.
2. Junior and Senior High School Group: Primarily for junior and senior high school teachers and students, limited to 30 teachers and students per school. For details, please refer to the group registration brochure for the junior and senior high school group.
(4) Registration Method: Group registration by school. Each itinerary per day is limited to one school group. If the quota is full, the organizer will coordinate and reserves the right to adjust as needed. The registration period is from now until Friday, May 20th, 111th year of the Republic of China (2022). (5) Admission Notification: The list of admitted participants will be announced on the event website (link as provided in the registration website) before Friday, May 27th, 111th year of the Republic of China (2022), and individual notifications will be sent via email.
4. To encourage schools in this city to actively register and participate, subsidies will be provided to participating schools based on the following principles:
(1) Each session will be subsidized with NT$6,000 (New Taiwan Dollars, hereinafter referred to as NT$). A school can apply for a maximum of one session subsidy. Each session must have at least 30 teachers and students participating; no subsidy will be provided if the number is less than 30.
(2) The subsidized funds can be used for expenses such as transportation, insurance (for students), meals (for teachers and students), and miscellaneous expenses. Any shortfall must be covered by the school.
(3) The maximum number of subsidized schools for senior high, junior high, and elementary school levels is 10 schools each. The estimated total subsidy is NT$180,000. Schools will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis until the quota is filled. Sessions are limited, and registration will close once full.
(4) After the registration deadline, the approved subsidy status will be notified in a separate letter based on the registration situation.
