| 1. | To encourage literary creation, submissions for our "2022 Taoyuan Chung Chao-Cheng Literary Award" are now open. This year's awards and prizes are as follows: |
| (1) | Full-length Novel: "Taoyuan Award" - 1 Grand Prize winner, NT$500,000; 3 Jury Recommendation Prizes, NT$100,000 each. |
| (2) | Short Story: 1 Grand Prize winner, NT$250,000; 2 Runner-up Prizes, NT$150,000 each; 2 Potential Prizes, NT$20,000 each. |
| (3) | Reportage: 1 Grand Prize winner, NT$250,000; 2 Runner-up Prizes, NT$150,000 each; 2 Potential Prizes, NT$20,000 each. |
| (4) | Prose: 1 Grand Prize winner, NT$180,000; 2 Runner-up Prizes, NT$100,000 each; 2 Potential Prizes, NT$20,000 each. |
| (5) | New Poetry: 1 Grand Prize winner, NT$120,000; 2 Runner-up Prizes, NT$70,000 each; 2 Potential Prizes, NT$20,000 each. |
| (6) | Children's Story: 1 Grand Prize winner, NT$120,000; 2 Runner-up Prizes, NT$70,000 each; 2 Potential Prizes, NT$20,000 each. |
| 2. | Eligibility is open to all nationalities and themes. However, full-length novels must be related to local Taoyuan themes. The submission deadline for the full-length novel category is July 10th, while other categories close on August 8th. Submissions can be made in print or online. |
| 3. | Additionally, this literary award features 14 planned events themed around "Weaving Electricity." These events are divided into 5 steps, guiding participants from learning to capture inspiration and overcome writing blocks, ultimately becoming "Electricity Weavers" who create outstanding works. The promotional event themes are as follows: |
