| I. | In accordance with the Council's letter dated April 12, 111, with reference number 11167003802. |
| II. | The curriculum guidelines for "12-Year Basic Education" were implemented in the 108 academic year. To enhance the quality and quantity of Hakka language learning for students and to strengthen the breadth and depth of Hakka language courses in all levels of schools, the Council has established the "111 Academic Year Hakka Language Integrated into the 12-Year Basic Education Elective Curriculum" implementation plan. This plan assists schools in developing students' core competencies and implementing Hakka language learning by integrating it with Hakka community life contexts based on students' learning needs. |
| III. | To encourage teachers in senior high schools and below to improve their Hakka language proficiency, obtain intermediate-high level Hakka language certifications, and use Hakka to teach subjects other than Hakka language and literature courses, the subsidy amounts for material editing fees and language research fees under the aforementioned plan have been increased as follows: |
| (1) | Material Editing Fee: For self-compiled teaching materials or teaching activity designs developed in response to curriculum research, teachers who do not receive hourly wages under this plan will be subsidized NT$600 per month per subject per grade level. If a teacher obtains an intermediate-high level Hakka language certification, the subsidy will be NT$1,000 per month per subject per grade level (a copy of the certification must be attached upon application and reimbursement). |
| (2) | Language Research Fee: For research expenses required for converting to Hakka language teaching, teachers who do not receive hourly wages under this plan will be subsidized up to NT$1,000 per month. If a teacher obtains an intermediate-high level Hakka language certification, the subsidy will be up to NT$2,000 per month (a copy of the certification must be attached upon application and reimbursement). |
| IV. | Please have your school actively apply for the aforementioned plan. To simplify administrative procedures and expedite the review process, please have each school fill out the application information directly on the Hakka Affairs Council's Hakka Language Life School Teaching Information Center System / Hakka Language Integrated into the 12-Year Basic Education Elective Curriculum Implementation Plan section (https://school.hakka.gov.tw/12) within the deadline.
