2022-2023 Daxi, Taoyuan Research Project Call for Papers

Subject: Our museum is organizing the "111-112 Taoyuan Daxi Studies Research Project." We kindly request your assistance in promoting this initiative and encouraging your affiliated individuals to participate actively. Please refer to the details below for further information. Thank you.
Details:  
1. This project aims to encourage researchers in relevant fields to engage in research and writing about the Daxi area, thereby strengthening the knowledge base of Taoyuan Daxi Studies and preserving local memory.
2. Attached are the project guidelines and application forms. Key information is as follows:
(1) Research Areas: Applications are accepted for research focusing on the humanities, history, geography, social sciences, arts, architecture, landscape, and ecological environment related to the Daxi area, or comparative studies between Taoyuan Daxi and other regions in Taiwan or internationally.
(2) Eligibility and Honoraria:
1. Category A: Field Documentation. For the general public with in-depth knowledge or research on the Taoyuan Daxi area. Honorarium: NT$30,000 per person. Typically 1-2 awards per year.
2. Category B: Thematic Research Papers. For current faculty at universities, or experts, scholars, researchers, or practitioners at museums, art galleries, libraries, etc., and researchers in related fields from non-governmental organizations. Honorarium: NT$50,000 per person. Typically 1-2 awards per year.
3. Category C: Rewriting Degree Theses into Monographs. For individuals who obtained a doctoral or master's degree from a public or private university accredited by the Ministry of Education within the last 3 years prior to the application deadline; current students or recent graduates are also eligible. Honorarium: NT$50,000 per person. Typically 1-2 awards per year.
3. Application Period:
(1) Research for the year 111 (2022): Applications open from May 2, 111 (2022), and close on July 1, 111 (2022).
(2) Cross-year research for 111-112 (2022-2023): Applications open from May 2, 111 (2022), and close on August 1, 111 (2022).
4. Application Method: Within the application period, please submit the required documents for your chosen category, both in hard copy and electronic format, to the designated address:
(1) Hard Copy: Collection and Exhibition Division, Taoyuan City Daxi Wood Art Ecomuseum, 2nd Floor, Rear Building, No. 11, Puji Road, Daxi District, Taoyuan City 335021.
