| Subject: | Regarding the "Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language" (TOCFL) May 2022 official examination, organized by the Steering Committee for the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language Development (TOCFL), we kindly request your announcement and encouragement for widespread participation. | Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Steering Committee for the Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language Development (hereinafter referred to as TOCFL Committee) dated April 21, 2022, TOCFL Letter No. 1112000049. |
| II. | Registration Period: April 18, 2022 (Monday) to May 4, 2022 (Wednesday). If there are remaining spots after the registration deadline, additional registration will be open (May 5 to May 8). |
| III. | Examination Dates and Sections: |
| (1) | May 28, 2022 (Saturday): |
| 1. | Listening and Reading Test: Band A, B, C. |
| (2) | May 29, 2022 (Sunday): |
| 1. | Speaking Test: Band A and Band C. |
| 2. | Writing Test: Band C. |
| 3. | Listening and Reading Test: Computerized Adaptive Test. |
| IV. | Examination Locations: National Taiwan Normal University, National Taipei University of Education, National Taiwan University, Chinese Culture University, Chung Yuan Christian University, National Chung Hsing University, Providence University, Kun Shan University of Technology, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, and Tzu Chi University, totaling ten examination centers. |
| V. | Examination Fees: |
| (1) | Listening and Reading Test: |
| 1. | Band Test: NT$1,600 per band. |
| 2. | Computerized Adaptive Test: NT$2,000. |
| (2) | Speaking Test: NT$1,400. |
| (3) | Writing Test: NT$1,400. |
| VI. | Discount Information: |
| (1) | A 20% discount is available for those who register for all three sections: Listening and Reading, Speaking, and Writing tests simultaneously. |
| (2) | Foreign students from strategic alliance institutions of the TOCFL Committee are eligible for a 10% discount. |
| (3) | Degree students from departments or programs that use the TOCFL as an admission or graduation requirement within strategic alliance institutions are eligible for a 20% discount. |
| VII. | To reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, candidates must comply with epidemic prevention measures and sign a health declaration form (https://tocfl.edu.tw/index.php/sign_up/rule/list/5). Please remind candidates to pay attention to the latest announcements on the TOCFL official website and email notifications. |
