2022 "Cool English Listening King" Competition Regulations

| Subject: | To inform you that the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to organize the 111th "Cool English Listening King" competition guidelines. | Explanation: |
| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's National and Preschool Education Administration's letter dated May 25, 111 (Tai Jiao Guo Shu Guo Zi No. 1110062821). |
| 2. | To assist national elementary and junior high school students in becoming familiar with English usage and thereby improving their English listening skills, the "Cool English" online learning platform has established the "Animated Adventures" section and the "Interactive Learning Videos" section. Through lively animated videos, students can learn everyday English conversations in a fun and engaging way. Additionally, the platform features the "Movie Spotlight" section, which offers English teaching videos from the Voice of America website. These videos present real-life dialogue scenarios through movie clips, helping students learn common phrases, train their English listening skills, and become familiar with and understand English expressions through various interactive listening exercises. |
| 3. | The event period is from June 20, 111 (00:00) to July 22, 111 (23:59). The competition operates on a first-come, first-served registration basis. Participants must accurately complete the registration form before they can access the answering section. (The end time of the event will be based on the last answering time displayed on the platform's website). |
| 4. | Participants include students from grades 3 to 6 in public and private elementary schools in this city (Elementary School Group) and students from grades 7 to 9 in junior high schools (Junior High School Group). Please refer to the competition guidelines for detailed information. |
