| Subject: | To inform you about the "Taiwan V-Watch COVID-19 Vaccination - Health Report" (hereinafter referred to as V-Watch) vaccination monitoring matters, please be informed. |
| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter of the Taoyuan City Government Health Bureau dated May 26, 111 (2022), No. 1110043756. |
| II. | V-Watch has included children and adolescents under 18 years of age in its tracking and monitoring since May 3 of this year (111/2022). With the consent of parents or guardians, health reports are filled out via mobile phone to actively strengthen monitoring, collect and analyze common adverse reactions after vaccination in this group, improve the safety monitoring of COVID-19 vaccines for children and adolescents, and enhance the efficiency of related care and response measures. |
| III. | To accelerate publicity and encourage parents to enroll their children in V-Watch to improve monitoring efficiency, we kindly request your school (kindergarten) to remind students and parents to join in one of the following ways and assist in strengthening publicity at the vaccination site: |
| (1) | Distribute V-Watch flyers (as attached) to accompanying parents in the observation area at the school vaccination site, and join by scanning the QR code on the spot. |
| (2) | Class teachers distribute V-Watch flyers to the class (can be included in the communication log) for students to take home to their parents to scan and join. |
| (3) | You can also scan/photograph the V-Watch flyer and ask the class teacher to forward it to the class LINE group, providing parents with a QR code to scan with their computers or mobile phones to join. Please remind them that they must scan and register within three days after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. If they have not been vaccinated, please do not scan to avoid data mismatch, which may prevent them from joining later. |
| IV. | Please strengthen health education at your school (kindergarten). Regardless of whether they join V-Watch or not, if they experience physical discomfort or any health problems after vaccination, they must seek medical attention at a medical institution for timely diagnosis and treatment to clarify the cause. |
| V. | For related information about V-Watch, please refer to the "Taiwan V-Watch COVID-19 Vaccination - Health Report" section on the Centers for Disease Control website: http://at.cdc.tw/yU8850. |
| VI. | One V-Watch flyer is attached. You can also find and use it directly on the homepage/message announcement/latest news section of this bureau's website. |
