| 1. | In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Government Environmental Protection Bureau dated May 31, 2022, No. 1110045906. |
| 2. | To enhance the environmental literacy of students and the public in our city, and to widely absorb environmental knowledge, through a fun and engaging approach, by means of lively, stimulating, and interesting competition activities to implement environmental education into daily life, this activity is specially organized. |
| 3. | The guidelines for the aforementioned competition are summarized as follows (time and location are subject to adjustment based on the epidemic situation): |
| (1) | Registration period: From June 15, 2022, to September 16, 2022. |
| (2) | Competition date: September 24, 2022 (Saturday). |
| (3) | Competition venue: Yuan Ze University (Address: No. 135, Yuan Dong Road, Zhongli District, Taoyuan City). |
| (4) | Competition categories: Divided into elementary school group, junior high school group, high school (vocational) group, and general public group, a total of 4 groups. |
| (5) | Eligibility: Students enrolled in elementary, junior high, high school (vocational) (including the first three years of vocational college) whose school address is located in this city for the 2022 academic year (after August); additionally, students participating in non-school type experimental education and who have not yet obtained school registration are also eligible to register. |
| (6) | Registration method: Online registration. Registration is expected to open on June 15, 2022 (Wednesday). The official website is the Environmental Protection Administration's "2022 Environmental Knowledge Competition." Registration URL: http://www.epaee.com.tw. |
| (7) | Competition results: The top 5 contestants in each group will represent this city in the national finals on November 19, 2022. Additionally, the instructors of the top 5 contestants (who must be registered during the preliminary round) will be awarded commendations or certificates of merit as encouragement. |
| 4. | Notes: If schools wish to obtain bonus points for participating in the "Taoyuan City Schools Environmental Education Award Program," please complete the competition registration before the deadline for uploading environmental education achievement data on September 1. | 5. | Personnel and staff participating in this matter will be granted official (business) leave by their respective schools according to their authority. |
