| Subject: | To inform you that the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to organize the 111th "Cool English Speaking Master" competition rules. | 1. | This is in accordance with the letter from the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education dated May 31, 111 (2022), Ref: Tai Jiao Guo Shu Guo Zi Di 1110068388. |
| 2. | To enhance the English speaking abilities of elementary and junior high school students nationwide, the Ministry of Education's Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to build the "Cool English Online Learning Platform" - "Speech Recognition" section. This section offers various question types such as conversational Q&A, basic pronunciation practice, and phrase practice, aiming to help students improve their English speaking skills in a fun and engaging way, and build a solid foundation for English conversation. The competition questions are derived from the "Immersive Experience" and "Learning English with Animation" sections of the platform, with some questions slightly extended and modified to increase difficulty and richness. We encourage elementary and junior high school students across the country to continue using the speaking section materials on this website to strengthen their English speaking skills, and thus, we are organizing the "Cool English Speaking Master" competition. |
| 3. | The event will run from August 8, 111 (2022) (00:00) to September 9, 111 (2022) (23:59). The competition operates on a first-come, first-served registration basis. Participants must complete the registration form accurately before proceeding to the answering section. Only after completing the registration can participants access the answering area. (The end of the event will be based on the last answered time displayed on the platform's website). |
| 4. | Participants include students from grades 3 to 6 in public and private elementary schools in this city (Elementary School Group) and students from grades 7 to 9 in junior high schools (Junior High School Group). For detailed information, please refer to the competition rules. |
