| 1. | Dr. Hua-Shan Wu, Dean of the College of Nursing at our university, has received funding from the Ministry of Education to implement the University Social Responsibility Practice (USR) project. The project is titled "Building Dementia-Friendly Cities for the Elderly: University Social Responsibility Dementia Literacy X Zhi-Sheng Upgrade X Intelligent Assistance." The objective is to promote dementia literacy foundational education under sub-project two, by organizing online camps for junior and senior high school students to enhance their knowledge of dementia care, with the goal of improving dementia literacy for the general public. |
| 2. | Since mid-May of this year, Taiwan has been experiencing a severe COVID-19 pandemic. During this time, junior and senior high school students have been staying at home, altering their daily routines, reducing social activities, and consequently limiting cognitive stimulation, leading to a dull holiday period. Therefore, the Asia University Social Responsibility Practice Project is organizing this online camp for junior and senior high school students, inviting all fifth and sixth graders from elementary schools nationwide, first graders from junior high schools, as well as their parents and teachers to participate. |
| 3. | Camp Registration Dates: (Participants may choose to attend either cohort) |
| (1) | First Cohort: Registration is open from now until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 111 (2022). |
| (2) | Second Cohort: Registration is open from now until 5:00 PM on Monday, September 12, 111 (2022). |
