Announcement Compilation

To help students gain a deeper understanding of various professional fields, the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology is organizing the "Career Collection" documentary competition, which opens for submissions on June 15th. The gold award winner will receive a prize of NT$30,000. Please announce this to your students and encourage them to participate individually or as a team.

I. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1112301792 dated May 31, 2022.
II. From 2022 to 2024, the Ministry of Education will continue to collaborate with its affiliated social education institutions to organize thematic vocational exploration experience permanent exhibitions and related activities. These activities will offer experience opportunities in 15 categories of technical high schools and cooperate with vocational colleges to organize related experience activities, such as: assembly courses for creative model cars and building block solar-powered model cars, and courses like the production of Wenchang pens, as well as sharing sessions by experts. These are designed to provide teachers, parents, and students with an in-depth understanding of vocational education and to expand the possibilities for future career development.
III. In addition, to enhance students' understanding of various fields of work and to explore personal future career development in a diverse manner, National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology is organizing the "Vocational Collection" documentary competition. Students can first gain a basic understanding of various fields by participating in the permanent exhibition and related activities for vocational exploration. Then, by personally filming workplace videos of their friends and family, students can gain a deeper understanding of relevant job content and required skills, and contemplate their future career development. The submission period begins on June 15th and ends on August 15th. The gold award winners, selected by professional judges, will receive a prize of NT$30,000. Teachers, students, and parents are encouraged to inspire students to submit their work individually or as a team.
