The 12th Book Sage Cup Calligraphy Competition in Taoyuan City

| Subject: | Attached is the implementation plan for the "12th Taoyuan City Calligraphy Competition". We encourage individuals registered in Taoyuan City or studying in schools at all levels in this city to submit their entries and to help promote the event widely. |
| Notes: |
| 1. | In accordance with the official letter No. 1110040247 dated May 4, 111 (2022). |
| 2. | Considering the ongoing severe COVID-19 pandemic and to avoid gatherings that could affect public health, especially since elementary school students are not fully vaccinated, the competition will be conducted through submission of entries, as detailed in the competition plan. |
| 3. | The competition is divided into the following 5 categories: (1) Lower Elementary School Group, (2) Upper Elementary School Group, (3) Junior High School Group, (4) Senior High School/Vocational Group (including the first three years of five-year junior colleges), and (5) College/University and Social Group. |
| 4. | Submission Specifications: |
| (1) | Elementary School Groups (Lower/Upper) and Junior High School Group: All entries must be written vertically on Xuan paper measuring approximately 68x35 cm (four-chi size). |
| (2) | Senior High School/Vocational Group and College/University and Social Group: All entries must be written vertically on Xuan paper measuring approximately 135x35 cm (dui-kai size). |
| (3) | The font style is not restricted. The content must be chosen from the designated topics in [Attachment 3]. Entries not adhering to this will not be scored. |
| (4) | All submitted works must include a signature. The College/University and Social Group must also include a seal (use of ink stamp). For other groups, the use of a seal is optional. |
| (5) | Please submit by Friday, July 29, 111 (2022) (postmarked/delivered to Nanmen Elementary School). Attach the registration form (detailed in [Attachment 2]) to the upper right corner on the back of your artwork. Mail/deliver to the Academic Affairs Office of Nanmen Elementary School. (Address: No. 303, Fuxing Road, Taoyuan District, Taoyuan City 33066. For in-person delivery: Due to school building construction, the entrance to Nanmen Elementary School is located at the intersection of Nanshan Street and Datong Road, Taoyuan District.) |
