New Generation Environmental Education Development 'International Issues Empowerment Series Lectures'

Subject: Attached are the information and poster for the "New Generation Environmental Education Development 'International Issues Empowerment Series Lectures'", please refer to the details for your reference.
Details:  
1. In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. 1112702336, dated June 22, 111.
2. To cultivate teachers' core competencies in sustainability and enhance learning in interdisciplinary environmental education issues, the aforementioned lectures are specially organized, inviting domestic and international experts and scholars to give online keynote speeches to grasp the pulse of emerging international issues.
3. A total of 3 lectures will be held. The times, invited speakers, and topics are as follows:
(1) Lecture 1: July 13, 111 (Wednesday) at 2:00 PM. Speaker: Dr. Chung-Hsi Lin, Director-General of the National Academy for Educational Research. Topic: "Turning SDGs from Formalism into a Force for Change: A Perspective on New Generation Education."
(2) Lecture 2: July 20, 111 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM. Speaker: Adam Ratner, Associate Director of Conservation Education at the Marine Mammal Center, USA. Topic: "Hopeful Actions: Framing Conversations to Change Climate Change."
(3) Lecture 3: July 27, 111 (Wednesday) at 3:30 PM. Speaker: Thakur S. Powdyel, former Minister of Education of Bhutan. Topic: "Promoting Innovative Thinking for Green Schools: Designing Restorative Learning."
4. The lectures will be conducted via online video conference. Please refer to the attached information and poster for relevant content and registration methods.
5. Participants in each lecture will be awarded 2 hours of environmental education credit (including extensions). Personnel participating in this event will be granted official leave by their respective schools according to their authority.
