| 1. | Purpose of the activity: This project integrates various resources to implement the three major indicators of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Sustainable Cities and Communities. It aims to enhance the competitiveness of the Shetou sock knitting industry, attract local talent to return, promote local development, encourage students and the public to exercise creative thinking, and foster a deeper understanding of Taiwan's sock knitting industry and local regeneration. |
| 2. | Theme: Any topic related to Shetou is welcome, such as: Shetou's history, culture, local characteristics, local regeneration, sustainable education, talent return, sustainable cities and communities, sock knitting industry, etc. The form of the work is not limited, such as: projects, articles, poems, drawings, song compositions, videos, etc. |
| 3. | Important Schedule |
| (1) | September 14, 2022 (Wednesday): Submission deadline (postmark as proof) |
| (2) | September 30, 2022 (Friday): Announcement of winners |
| (3) | October 14, 2022 (Friday): Public award ceremony and exhibition of works |
| 4. | Participation Method: |
| (1) | Participating works: Submitted works must not have participated in any other competitions. |
| (2) | Registration Groups: Elementary School Group, Junior High School Group, Senior High Vocational Group, University Group, Social Group. |
| (3) | Submission Method: Please submit physical works or multimedia works (multimedia works should be sent via CD or USB), checklist (Attachment 1), competition registration form (Attachment 2), authorization letter (Attachment 3), and identification sticker form (Attachment 4) to: Ms. Wan-Ru Li, "Shetou Sock Knitting - Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Creation" USR Project Office, Management College, Baoshan Campus, National Changhua University of Education, No. 2, Baoshan Campus, Changhua City, 500. |
| 5. | This competition is guided by the Ministry of Education, the Education Department of Changhua County Government, and the Shetou Township Office. It is co-organized by the Taiwan Sock Industry Association, the Changhua County Sock Industry Development Association, Shetou Elementary School of Changhua County, Shetou Junior High School of Changhua County, Yuanlin Vocational High School of Changhua County, and Ersheitian Community University. |
