| 1. | As many societies domestically and internationally are currently facing serious challenges related to social equity and economic justice, the gap between the rich and the poor is becoming increasingly severe, profoundly impacting ourselves, our families, and future generations, and urgently demanding public attention, thought, and collective action. In pursuit of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) concerning "Reduced Inequalities" and "Sustainable Cities and Communities," as well as promoting the spirit of integrity embodied in "virtue, utilization, and livelihood," and advocating for the value of integrity—especially its active value in practicing social equity and economic justice with a benevolent and caring attitude towards all beings—to achieve the sustainable development goal of "living and working in peace and contentment" and "Leave No One Behind," this competition is being organized. |
| 2. | The details of the competition submissions are as follows: |
| (1) | Eligibility: In addition to citizens of this country, foreign nationals residing in the Republic of China who meet the following conditions are also welcome to participate. |
| 1. | Painting Competition (Elementary School Group, Junior High School Group): Currently enrolled students in public and private elementary and junior high schools nationwide. |
| 2. | Graphic Design Competition: Individuals aged 15 years or older. |
| (2) | Submission Period: From the date of announcement until August 19, 2022. |
| (3) | The top prize is NT$20,000, and there will also be a lucky draw opportunity. |
| 3. | Attached are the event poster (Attachment 1) and the event details (Attachment 2). We kindly request your assistance in posting the poster and disseminating the event details to encourage more citizens and foreign residents in Taiwan who care about social justice, sustainable development, clean governance, and arts and culture to participate.
