| 1. | In accordance with the 111th year Integrity Work Plan of the City Government's Department of Government Ethics, the 111th year "Promoting Character Education Plan" of this city, and the meeting matters of the 111th year Promoting Character Education Plan. |
| 2. | The aforementioned plan is summarized as follows (details in the implementation plan): |
| (1) | Target Participants: Public and private elementary and junior high school students in this city, divided into three groups: elementary school middle grades (grades 3-4), elementary school upper grades (grades 5-6), and junior high school (grades 7-9). |
| (2) | Implementation Method: |
| 1. | Writing Theme: Free expression on the theme of "Integrity and Character" (can refer to the 12 core values of character education in Taoyuan City: integrity, responsibility, justice, respect, filial piety, gratitude, diligence, appreciation, courtesy, cooperation, care, humility). The content should primarily be short essays that combine life experiences or are thought-provoking, and complete the creation. |
| 2. | Submission Method: |
| (1) | From now until October 20, 111 (Thursday) (based on online registration time), upload the registration form and works to the Ruipu Elementary School website. Experts and scholars will then conduct the evaluation (details in the implementation plan). |
| (2) | Number of Recommended Submissions: Each public and private junior high and elementary school in this city shall recommend based on the following number of articles. |
| A. | Schools with 60 or more classes in total: Each school shall choose one article from the four character traits of integrity, responsibility, respect, and justice, and another one of their choice, for a total of two recommended submissions. |
| B. | Schools with fewer than 60 classes in total: Each school shall choose at least one core character value as the theme and recommend one article. |
| (3) | All submitted works will not be returned. Please keep a copy for yourself. The organizer will not process returns for unselected works. |
| (3) | Announcement of Results: The list of selected participants will be announced by this bureau before the end of November, 111. |
| (4) | Awards: |
| 1. | Selected works will be compiled and printed into an integrity story handbook. |
| 2. | Participants who win awards will receive gift certificates ranging from NT$1,000 to NT$3,000 and certificates of merit based on the evaluation. Instructing teachers will receive commendations or certificates of merit based on their students' rankings (details in the implementation plan). |
| 3. | Additionally, this project will apply for the "Talent Show Category Points for the Over-Quota Selection Process for Senior High School Entrance Examinations in Taoyuan-Lianqu." Whether the certificates of merit can be included as points will be determined by the resolution of this year's review meeting. |
