| Subject: | To inform you about the selection of the "Group Award" and "Individual Award" for the "Ministry of Education Ocean Education Promoter Award," organized by the Taiwan Ocean Education Center of National Taiwan Ocean University (hereinafter referred to as the Ocean Education Center) on behalf of the Ministry of Education. We encourage you to actively recommend exemplary groups or individuals to participate. Please be informed. |
| Explanation: |
| 1. | This is in accordance with the official letter from National Taiwan Ocean University, dated June 20, 111 (Republic of China calendar), with reference number 1110012985. |
| 2. | The aforementioned plan is summarized as follows: |
| (1) | Purpose: To recognize groups, individuals, local governments, and curriculum teaching teams dedicated to promoting ocean education, the Ministry of Education has established the "Ministry of Education Ocean Education Promoter Award Selection and Commendation Plan" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") to acknowledge their outstanding contributions to ocean education and to encourage private sector resources to support ocean education initiatives. |
| (2) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | Groups: Groups (excluding schools at all levels and government agencies/organizations) that have made significant contributions to the actual practice, promotion, or sponsorship of ocean education. This includes legally established (or registered) organizations, corporations, or businesses. |
| 2. | Individuals: Individuals who have made significant contributions to the actual practice, promotion, or sponsorship of ocean education. |
| 3. | Local Governments: Municipalities and county/city governments that have achieved outstanding results in promoting ocean education. |
| 4. | Curriculum Teaching Teams: Teacher teams in senior high schools and below that have innovative features in implementing ocean education teaching. |
| 3. | Each recommending unit shall provide specific achievements of the recommended groups or individuals and supporting documentation. Recommendations should be submitted in writing to this bureau. The recommendation process is as follows: |
| (1) | Each recommending unit shall submit the recommendation form (as detailed in the attachment), along with relevant supporting documents and evidence, and one copy of the electronic data on a CD. This should be submitted to the bureau for compilation by June 27, 111 (Monday). |
| (2) | Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria, are submitted late (postmark date applies), or are incomplete will not be accepted. |
