For your information, the Civil Service College (hereinafter referred to as the College) will hold the 2nd batch of the 2022 Globalization English Class from September to December 2022. All colleagues are welcome to sign up.
Details:
1. In accordance with the Taoyuan City Government's letter of July 28, 2022, Ref. No. 1110210191, and with a copy of the original letter (including attachments) attached.
2. To cultivate civil servants' global governance and bilingual abilities, the College will offer two batches of this training in 2022. The information for the second batch is as follows:
(1) Topics: Five major course groups including international political and economic situations, sustainable environmental development, forward-looking technology trends, diverse society and media, and public administration and leadership.
(2) Time: September 1 to December 1, 2022 (class suspended on September 8 due to the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday), with a total of 12 sessions and a training period of 13 weeks.
(3) Participants: Current civil servants of any rank are welcome to apply.
(4) Training method:
1. Conducted via Webex Meetings virtual classroom. In addition to playing recorded videos for each session, online Q&A sessions will be arranged for trainees and lecturers.
(1) Course video playback: Each course video will be approximately 30 minutes long. A total of 12 course videos will be premiered in the Webex Meetings virtual classroom every Thursday from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM. After the playback, trainees can ask questions via comments.
(2) Online Q&A interaction: After the premiere of the course, the lecturer for that course will conduct a live video session with trainees in the Webex Meetings virtual classroom every Thursday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM to review the course content and answer questions. After the interaction, trainees will complete a questionnaire and then the premiere of the next course will be played.
2. For effective learning, trainees are required to use the Civil Service College's Training Information Service Network and download the College's APP on their mobile devices during the training period.
(5) Certificate of completion and credit hours:
1. Training hours: Participants who attend the sessions and complete the questionnaires will be awarded 2 training hours per session based on their actual attendance, for a total of 24 training hours.
2. Certificate of completion: Participants who accumulate training hours of 1/2 (12 hours) or more of the total training hours will be issued a certificate of completion by the College.
3. Registration: Interested individuals can register by filling out the application form on the Civil Service College's official website (https://www.nacs.gov.tw) under "Course Registration" from August 1, 2022 (Monday) to August 15, 2022 (Friday). The list of admitted participants will be announced on the College's official website by August 24, 2022 (Wednesday), and no separate notification will be sent.
