| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Pearl S. Buck Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the Foundation) dated August 9, 111 (2022), Ref: Sai-Zi No. 111051. |
| II. | The Foundation is a registered social welfare organization established in 1968. It has long served children of new immigrants and their families, providing academic, educational, and behavioral guidance, as well as financial support, to help them adapt to life in Taiwan and grow into self-reliant individuals. |
| III. | The promotional text is as follows: "The Pearl S. Buck Foundation's 110 Academic Year New Immigrant Children Scholarship" is now open for applications. The deadline is September 30th (postmark date applies). We welcome outstanding students from elementary, junior high, senior high/vocational, and university/college levels who are children of new immigrants to apply.
