Youth Anti-Smoking (Tobacco) Creative Design Competition

Subject: Attached is the "Youth Anti-Smoking (Vaping) Creative Design Competition" announcement for 2022 from our bureau's Health Bureau. Please take note.
Details:  
1. In accordance with the letter from our bureau's Health Bureau dated August 25, 2022, No. 1110072284.
2. To help young people understand the harms of smoking and e-cigarettes, and to strengthen their anti-smoking skills and correct concepts regarding tobacco hazard prevention laws, this competition is being held. Young students who understand themselves best are encouraged to come up with creative ideas for anti-smoking themes. The competition details and awards are summarized as follows:
(1) Participants:
1. Group 1: 5th and 6th graders from public and private elementary schools in our city for the 2022 academic year.
2. Group 2: Students from public and private junior high schools in our city for the 2022 academic year.
3. Group 3: Students from public and private senior high and vocational schools in our city for the 2022 academic year.
(2) Creative Format:
1. Group for 5th and 6th graders: Creative posters.
2. Group for junior high students: 30-second short film creation.
3. Group for senior high and vocational students: Meme creation.
(3) Registration Deadline: From now until October 7, 2022.
(4) Judging Criteria:
1. Experts from the media and communication field, public health and tobacco hazard prevention field, and internal appointed experts will be invited as judges. Scoring will be based on 40% for the anti-smoking (vaping) theme, 30% for feasibility, 20% for creativity, and 10% for online popularity voting.
2. Online Popularity Voting: Submitted works will be uploaded to our bureau's Facebook page for online voting. One online popularity award will be selected for each group.
(5) Awards:
1. Participation Award: All participants will receive a NT$100 gift certificate.
2. Awards for the top 3 and 5 honorable mentions in each group:
(1) First Place: Each participant (group) will receive a NT$6,000 gift certificate and a certificate of commendation. The supervising teacher will receive two commendations and a NT$2,000 gift certificate.
(2) Second Place: Each participant (group) will receive a NT$4,000 gift certificate and a certificate of commendation. The supervising teacher will receive one commendation and a NT$1,500 gift certificate.
(3) Third Place: Each participant (group) will receive a NT$2,000 gift certificate and a certificate of commendation. The supervising teacher will receive a certificate of commendation and a NT$1,000 gift certificate.
(4) Honorable Mention: 5 winners; each participant (group) will receive a NT$1,000 gift certificate and a certificate of commendation.
(5) Online Popularity Award: One winner selected by popular vote in each group. Each participant (group) will receive a NT$3,000 gift certificate and a certificate of commendation.
3. School Participation Award: Schools submitting 3 or more entries will receive a certificate of commendation.
