| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the Implementation Guidelines for the 111th Academic Year National Student Dance Competition. |
| II. | The amendments to the City Guidelines are as follows: |
| (1) | Article 4, Paragraph 3, Item (6): Amended to "Continuously winning the top three excellence awards in the same category of the national competition for individual events for 2 consecutive years, and achieving excellence awards in the same category and group in the national competition or the Northern District Finals for group events, ... (Note: This provision for group events will be implemented in the 112th academic year; for individual events, it will be implemented in the 113th academic year)." |
| (2) | New Article 9, Paragraph 2, Item (4): "When filling out the registration form, please verify the performance time of the dance piece to facilitate the scheduling." |
| (3) | Article 9, Paragraph 4, Item (2): Amended to "Rehearsal for group A, B, and C categories of all levels of schools: In response to the protective measures for the COVID-19 pandemic, rehearsal registration is canceled for the 111th academic year, and replaced with on-site positioning before the competition. For related matters, please refer to Attachment 2, 'Taoyuan City 111th Academic Year Student Dance Competition Positioning Guidelines'." |
| (4) | Article 9, Paragraph 9: Amended to "... When announcing the results, only the grades will be published for the group category, and rankings will be based on the order of participation (the paper copy of the average score for each group will be collected along with the audio-visual disc)...." |
| (5) | Article 11, Paragraph 1: Amended to "... Additionally, for individual events, please be ready 5 teams before the start of your session; for group events, please be ready 4 teams before the start of your session...." |
| (6) | Article 11, Paragraph 3: Amended to "Participating units must compete according to the scheduled order of appearance. Please pay close attention to the real-time competition and prepare in the waiting area in advance...." |
| (7) | Article 11, Paragraph 22: Amended to "Results will be announced after each session. Award certificates will be collected by the winning schools." |
| (8) | Attachment 2, 'Taoyuan City 111th Academic Year Student Dance Competition Positioning Guidelines', is newly added. |
| (9) | Attachment 3, Article 2: Amended to "... If the point values are still the same, the ranking will be determined by the judges' decision on the order of superiority." |
| III. | Key details of the aforementioned competition are summarized as follows: |
| (1) | Competition Venue: Gymnasium of Taoyuan Municipal Jianguo Junior High School (Address: No. 20, Jiexin St., Taoyuan Dist., Taoyuan City). |
| (2) | Competition Dates: From November 18 (Friday) to November 20 (Sunday), 111th academic year, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The schedule will be arranged with Area 1 first, then Area 2. |
| (3) | Registration Period: From October 11 (Tuesday) to October 17 (Monday), 111th academic year. |
| (4) | Registration Method: |
| 1. | Online Registration: Please log in to the National Student Dance Competition Information Network (http://studentdance.perdc.ntnu.edu.tw) to complete the registration data. Then, print 4 copies of the paper registration form (including the list of participants) online. After affixing the school seal (for group events) or the registration office's stamp (for individual events), submit 2 copies to the city's organizing unit and retain 2 copies for yourself (to be brought to the city competition and finals for check-in and verification). Participants who do not register will not be allowed to compete. |
| 2. | Mailing Registration Forms: Submit the paper forms by registered mail with return receipt no later than October 17 (Monday) (postmark as proof). Late submissions will not be accepted. Mail to Taoyuan Municipal Taoyuan Senior High School (Address: No. 38, Sec. 3, Chenggong Rd., Taoyuan Dist., Taoyuan City 33052, Attn: Special Education Group, Academic Affairs Office; Phone: (03)3946001 ext. 6216, 6711). This completes the registration process. |
| (5) | Drawing of Lots and Team Leader Meeting: |
| 1. | Date: November 2, 111th academic year (Wednesday) at 1:30 PM. Those who arrive late will have their lots drawn by the organizing unit publicly, and no objections will be accepted. After the lots are drawn, no changes to the list will be allowed. |
| 2. | Location: 5th Floor Conference Room, Administration Building, Taoyuan Senior High School. No separate notification will be issued. |
| 3. | The drawing of lots will commence after the team leader meeting. All participating schools must send representatives to attend to avoid forfeiting their rights. |
| IV. | The registration process for this competition involves important rights for students and the opportunity to represent the nation. Therefore, please ensure that your school effectively communicates the competition-related information to students and parents through communication books or notices, and not solely through online announcements or bulletin boards, to protect students' rights. |
| V. | In accordance with Article 12 of the aforementioned Implementation Guidelines, all competitors (students), team staff, and event staff participating in this competition shall be granted official leave (or business leave) by their respective schools or organizations. The bureau will not issue separate leave certificates or attendance certificates. |
| VI. | The Implementation Guidelines for this competition can also be downloaded and viewed on the National Student Dance Competition Information Network (http://studentdance.perdc.ntnu.edu.tw). |
