| Explanation: |
| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Yuan Zhe Science Education Foundation dated August 22, 111, with reference number 111Yuan(Qi)Zi-60. |
| II. | This program provides scholarships to 60 elementary school students in the city at NT$3,000 per semester, and to 45 junior high school students at NT$4,000 per semester. The scholarships will be directly remitted to the school's public treasury by the foundation via wire transfer in December 111. |
| III. | To align with the donor's intention to support disadvantaged students in the city, please carefully evaluate and recommend students. The foundation will announce the list of scholarship recipients on October 5, 111. |
| IV. | Application eligibility is detailed in Article 2 of the Implementation Guidelines. |
| V. | Application Notes: |
| (1) | Please consolidate the application documents of students who have passed the preliminary review and submit them through the online system by school unit by September 23, 111, within the application period. |
| (2) | Recommended Quotas per School: |
| 1. | Elementary school recommendation: 1 student (Elementary school students who have previously received this scholarship can reapply without any limit on the number of times). |
| 2. | Junior high school recommendation: 1 to 2 students: |
| (1) | Students with a strong interest in natural sciences who are willing to fully participate in the "Dada Magic Science Camp" courses organized by this scholarship. Failure to participate will be considered a waiver of eligibility. For online asynchronous courses, scholarships will be awarded upon completion of hands-on projects and submission of learning worksheets. |
| (2) | The foundation will mail information regarding online courses, teaching materials, manuals, and website links to the schools between October 11 and October 14. Please forward these materials to the students and encourage them to complete the online hands-on courses and fill out the online learning worksheets. The videos will be available online from October 17 to October 30, and students should arrange their own time to study online. |
| (3) | The foundation does not accept repeated participation in this camp, so junior high school students are limited to one application. |
| (3) | Documents to be submitted by students: |
| 1. | Proof of financial hardship, refer to Article 2, item (2), applicant category 1 of the Implementation Guidelines (if no written proof is available, the homeroom teacher must briefly describe the actual situation in the "Family Financial Hardship" section of the application form). |
| 2. | Application form and parental consent form, refer to Article 2, item (2), applicant category explanation. |
| (1) | Form 1: For elementary school students (no need to attend the science camp). |
| (2) | Form 2: For junior high school students (required to attend the Dada Magic Science Camp courses). |
| 3. | Academic performance certificate, refer to Article 2, item (2), applicant category 3 of the Implementation Guidelines (no separate proof of character is required). |
| 4. | Copy of the school's bank passbook. If the public treasury is a credit union and no passbook copy is available, please provide alternative proof, or type the account information in a Word document and have it stamped by the cashier's office. |
