2. Key points of the plan are as follows (refer to the implementation plan for details):
(1) Participants: Public and private elementary and junior high school students in this city, divided into three groups: elementary school middle grades (grades 3-4), elementary school upper grades (grades 5-6), and junior high school (grades 7-9).
(2) Implementation Method:
1. Writing Theme: Freely express ideas on the theme of "Integrity and Character" (refer to Taoyuan City's 12 core character education values: integrity, responsibility, justice, respect, filial piety, gratitude, diligence, appreciation, courtesy, cooperation, care, humility). The content should primarily be short essays that combine life experiences or are thought-provoking.
2. Submission Method:
(1) From now until October 20, 2022 (Thursday) (based on online submission time), upload the registration form and work to the Ruipu Elementary School website. Experts and scholars will conduct the evaluation (refer to the implementation plan for details).
(2) Number of Recommended Submissions: Public and private junior high and elementary schools in this city shall recommend articles based on the following numbers.
A. Schools with 60 or more classes in total: Each school shall select one article from the four character traits of integrity, responsibility, respect, and justice, and choose another one freely, with a minimum of two recommended articles.
B. Schools with fewer than 60 classes in total: Each school shall select at least one core character value as the theme and recommend at least one article.
(3) All submitted works will not be returned. Please keep a copy; the organizer will not return unselected works.
(3) Announcement of Results: The list of winners will be announced by the Taoyuan City Government Education Bureau by the end of November 2022.
(4) Awards:
1. Selected works will be compiled and printed into an integrity story booklet.
2. Participants who win will receive gift certificates ranging from NT$1,000 to NT$3,000 and certificates of award based on the evaluation. Instructors will receive commendations or certificates of award based on their students' rankings (refer to the implementation plan for details).
3. Additionally, students who win awards in this plan will have their scores considered for the "Talent Performance" category in the "Over-Quota Admission" for senior high schools in the Taoyuan-Lianhe district. Whether the award certificate can be included in the score calculation will be determined by the review meeting this year.
