| Subject: | We are sending the "2022 10th Ms. Wu Zheng Xiu-Yu Black Tide Grant" application guidelines organized by our foundation. We kindly request your school to assist in disseminating this information and encourage teachers and students to participate actively. Please take note. |
| Explanation: |
| 1. | Taiwan is surrounded by the sea, and its geography and marine environment are intertwined, shaping the island's rich ecology and culture. To encourage students and the general public to initiate and participate in marine affairs, since 2013, writer Wu Ming-yi and his mother, Ms. Wu Zheng Xiu-Yu, have annually sponsored NT$100,000 to establish the "Ms. Wu Zheng Xiu-Yu Black Tide Grant" to continuously encourage and support various research and creative projects with "the sea as the theme." |
| 2. | This grant is divided into four categories: "Marine Research," "Marine Conservation Activities," "Marine Art Creation," and "Marine Project Science Exhibition." We look forward to the expertise and creativity of every islander to make the rich layers of the ocean visible and understandable to more people. |
| 3. | Applications for this call for proposals are open from now until October 10, 2022. Projects can be new or already in progress. For application guidelines and frequently asked questions about the grant, please visit the Black Tide Marine Education Foundation website to inquire or download the application form (https://pse.is/4e5ey7). |
