I. In accordance with the National Education Administration's letter No. 1110123043 dated September 21, 111.
II. To enhance the English speaking abilities of elementary and junior high school students nationwide, the National Education Administration has commissioned National Taiwan Normal University to build the "Cool English Online Learning Platform" - "Speech Recognition" section. This section offers various question types such as conversational Q&A, basic pronunciation practice, and phrase practice, aiming to help students speak English in a fun and engaging way, thereby building a solid foundation for English conversation. The competition questions for the elementary school group are derived from the "Daily English Speaking" section, and the questions for the junior high school group are from the "Little Conversation Masters" section, with some questions slightly extended and modified to increase richness and discriminative power. We encourage all elementary and junior high school students nationwide to continue using the speaking section materials on this website to improve their English speaking skills, and thus, we are organizing the "Cool English Speaking Master" competition.
III. Registration and Competition Period: From October 17, 111 (Monday) to November 17, 111 (Thursday). The competition adopts a "register first, then answer" system. Participants must complete the registration form before they can enter the answering area to take the test (the end time of the activity will be based on the last answering time displayed on the platform's website).
IV. Participants: Students in grades 3 to 6 of public and private elementary schools nationwide (elementary school group) and students in grades 7 to 9 of junior high schools nationwide (junior high school group). Each group is divided into a general area school group and a remote area school group based on their school affiliation (the remote area school group is defined according to the "List of Remote Area Elementary and Junior High Schools" announced by the Ministry of Education for the 111 academic year, including schools in remote, very remote, and extremely remote categories).
