Call for Submissions: "Love Mazu for All" National Student Creation Popularity Contest on Mazu's Enlightenment Day

Background:
Mazu of Beigang Chaotian Temple is an important cultural belief that blesses people across the nation, and a maternal figure embodying the aspirations and wishes of the Taiwanese people in their daily lives. On the important occasion of Mazu's Enlightenment Day on October 4, 2022, we specially invite students from all over the country to participate in the creation of Mazu's image.
This competition aims to express gratitude for Mazu's blessings upon the nation. Popularity awards will be voted on by the public, with scholarships and gifts from Chaotian Temple as prizes.
Submission Period: From now until October 31, 2022, 23:59 (GMT+8)
Submission Guidelines:
- Complete your submission by uploading your work and filling in the relevant information through the Google Form at the link below.
- Creative Works: Paintings, images, digital art, and photographs that conform to the image of Mazu from Beigang Chaotian Temple. Size and format restrictions are subject to the submission form. There is no limit to the number of submissions per person, but each person can only win one award (special awards are not included in this limit).
- After submission, the organizer will upload the works to the designated space in the metaverse within three working days. The link to the space will be provided via email on a later date.
- In case of any changes to the event guidelines, announcements will be made on the official Facebook fan pages of XRSPACE and Beigang Chaotian Temple.
Voting Guidelines:
- Voting Period: November 1, 2022, 00:00 to November 30, 2022, 23:59 (GMT+8)
- Voting Method: Starting from November 1, 2022, 00:00, users can enter the designated Taiwan Cultural Metaverse space in the GOXR app and click the heart icon to vote (each account can only vote once per work). Voting will be tallied on November 30, 2022, 23:59, and the results will be announced by the organizer on December 1, 2022. The organizer's announcement is final. In case of a tie in votes, the work that reached the specified number of votes earlier will be prioritized.
- Voting Participation Prize: 100 winners will be randomly selected from participants who vote, and each will receive a $100 convenience store gift card.
Awards:
- Elementary School Group: Popularity Award based on the number of votes, with three winners each receiving a NT$10,000 scholarship.
- Junior High School Group: Popularity Award based on the number of votes, with three winners each receiving a NT$10,000 scholarship.
- High School/Vocational Group: Popularity Award based on the number of votes, with three winners each receiving a NT$10,000 scholarship.
- Adult Group: Popularity Award based on the number of votes, with three winners each receiving a NT$10,000 cash prize.
