| II. | The activity information is as follows: |
| (1) | Activity Description: This activity will use observation, experience, field trips, and exploration and practical modes of developing climate action project cards based on the unique local biological characteristics of Lianhuachi. Through a series of interactive professional capacity-building courses, participants will be guided to think and understand how climate change affects the changes in hillside ecological environments. How can we enhance students' climate change literacy through the development of project cards and teaching models? We hope that the experience from this activity will help teachers improve their understanding of climate change and effectively implement climate actions in their teaching. We also expect to cultivate educational talents who can transform and grow in knowledge transmission, narrative communication, strategies, and methods, enabling teachers to return to their teaching or work fields with renewed energy! |
| (2) | Activity Dates: October 29 (Saturday) - October 30 (Sunday), 111 (2022). |
| (3) | Activity Location: Ecological Education Hall, Lianhuachi Research Center, Taiwan Forestry Research Institute, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan (No. 43, Hualong Lane, Yuchi Township, Nantou County 555). |
| (4) | The activity is limited to 20 participants, in groups of 2. Priority will be given to members who participated in the Climate Action Capacity Building Workshop from July 27-29. Notification of acceptance will be sent via email after registration. |
| (5) | Registration Period and Method: Please complete the online registration on the National In-service Teacher Training Network by October 15, 111 (Saturday) (Course Code: 3553899). |
