| I. | In accordance with the letter from Chang Gung University dated March 21, 112 (2023), Ref. No. CGU-1120030303. |
| II. | The relevant information for the aforementioned plan is as follows (see implementation plan for details): |
| (1) | Eligibility: |
| 1. | Students from public and private junior high and elementary schools in this city. |
| 2. | Those who have previously received the Character Education Practice Award are not eligible to apply again within 3 years. |
| (2) | Selection Criteria: This award does not prioritize academic achievement. Instead, it focuses on the fundamental values of diligence and simplicity, combined with the core virtues of care, honesty, fairness, responsibility, and respect as defined by the Character Education Partnership (CEP). Students with outstanding character and concrete achievements that serve as role models for their schools, and whose academic performance is above 80 points, will be selected. |
| (3) | Awards: |
| 1. | After the selection results are determined, an award ceremony will be held in mid-October 112 (2023). |
| 2. | Award amounts for winning students: |
| (1) | Practice Award: A certificate and a NT$3,000 bookstore gift certificate. |
| A. | Junior High: The Bureau will separately request the school to award one commendation. |
| B. | Elementary School: Schools will reward outstandingly according to their authority to commend. |
| (2) | Excellence Award: A certificate and a NT$1,000 bookstore gift certificate. |
| A. | Junior High: The Bureau will separately request the school to award two commendations. |
| B. | Elementary School: Schools will reward outstandingly according to their authority to commend. |
| (3) | Merit Award: A certificate. |
| A. | Junior High: The Bureau will separately request the school to award one commendation. |
| B. | Elementary School: Schools will reward outstandingly according to their authority to commend. |
| 3. | Award for Mentors: In accordance with the "Regulations for Performance Evaluation of Principals of Public Senior High Schools and Below," "Regulations for Performance Evaluation of Teachers of Public Senior High Schools and Below," and "Taoyuan City Municipal Schools and Kindergartens Staff Reward and Punishment Guidelines," the awards for nominated teachers (mentors) in this case are as follows: |
| (1) | Mentors of students who receive the Practice Award: One commendation and one certificate per person. |
| (2) | Mentors of students who receive the Excellence Award: Two outstanding performance certificates and one certificate per person. |
| (3) | Mentors of students who receive the Merit Award: One certificate per person. |
| (4) | Nomination Schedule: |
| 1. | By June 16, 112 (Friday), nominate outstanding students who meet the qualifications. Each school can nominate up to 5 students. |
| 2. | Schools should submit written materials (one dedicated application form, to be personally completed by the nominating teacher), supporting evidence of achievements, etc., to the Education Promotion Group of the Formosa Plastics Corporation Museum (Address: No. 259, Wenhua 1st Road, Guishan District, Taoyuan City) within the specified timeframe (postmark date applies for mailed applications). |
