Forwarding the "Understanding the Characteristics and Needs of People with Disabilities" teaching materials produced by the Ministry of Health and Welfare, please use them for education and training, and widely publicize them.

| I. | In accordance with the letter of the Social Affairs Bureau of this Government, dated March 27, 112, Social Affairs and Disability No. 1120029398. |
| II. | To enhance the understanding of persons with disabilities by public sectors and the general public, in order to reduce prejudice, negative stereotypes, and unfriendly behaviors towards persons with disabilities, the Ministry has produced the aforementioned teaching materials to explain the characteristics and needs of different disability categories (such as intellectual disabilities, autism, visual impairments, hearing impairments, speech and communication disorders, physical disabilities, cerebral palsy, etc.). |
| III. | The electronic files of the aforementioned teaching materials have been published on the "Promotional Zone" of the Ministry's Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) website. You are welcome to use them. The short URL paths are as follows: |
