Subject: Attached is the "Contingency Plan for the 112 Academic Year Senior High School Special Recruitment Program for Vocational Groups and Specialized Fields in Response to the Severe Pneumonia with Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia Epidemic" for your reference. Please assist in disseminating this information to candidates and parents. Thank you.
Description:
1. This is in accordance with the letter from the 112 Academic Year Senior High School Special Recruitment Program for Vocational Groups and Specialized Fields Committee, dated April 17, 112, with reference number 1121900023.
2. The main points of the aforementioned plan are summarized as follows:
(1) Candidates who are "reported as moderately to severely ill" are not allowed to participate in this examination and may apply for a make-up test. If a make-up test is required, proof such as a quarantine and treatment notice for severe pneumonia with novel coronavirus pneumonia issued by the government health unit should be submitted to the admitting school for application. If the candidate is still under isolation on the make-up test date and unable to attend, they may apply for a refund of the registration fee.
(2) The make-up test for the practical skills examination will generally be completed within two weeks after the original test date, and make-up tests are limited to one instance. No further make-up tests will be arranged thereafter. Please consider the availability of students applying for make-up tests when admitting schools plan their practical skills examinations.
(3) Candidates who are "mildly ill and not required to isolate (self-health management)" should proactively report to the admitting school and be assigned to a reserve examination room. Their movement and rest areas will be separated from those of general candidates, and they must wear a mask at all times during the examination. Admitting schools will open a dedicated hotline for reporting starting two days before the practical skills examination. After the examination on the day, admitting schools should strengthen the disinfection of the venue.
(4) If a candidate has a fever or respiratory symptoms on the day of the examination, their willingness should be inquired about, and appropriate protective measures should be taken, assisting them in seeking medical attention or wearing a mask to take the exam in a reserve examination room.
(5) Candidates are advised to leave home early on the day of the examination to avoid traffic congestion or other factors that may cause delays. It is recommended that candidates arrive at the examination area at least 30 minutes before the start of the examination, and bring their original valid identification and admission ticket to take the test on time. If parking is inconvenient near the examination venue, please try to arrange for a ride from parents or use public transportation.
3. For related epidemic prevention information, please refer to the website of the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control, Ministry of Health and Welfare. Each admitting school will adjust its response measures and announcements in accordance with the real-time epidemic situation announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center and this city. Please pay attention to the announcements on the websites of each admitting school.
