Details:
1. In accordance with the letter from the Taoyuan City Election Commission dated April 12, 112 (2023), document number 1120000442.

2. The election is scheduled for January 13, 113 (2024), a Saturday. According to Articles 58 and 59 of the Public Functionaries Election and Recall Act, the chief administrator, chief supervisor, and more than half of the administrators at polling stations must be current civil servants or public school employees.

3. Furthermore, according to Article 60 of the Public Functionaries Election and Recall Act, polling station staff must attend training sessions organized by the Election Commission and are granted official leave for this purpose. Therefore, the training for polling station staff for this election is expected to be held in November 112 (2023). Those who do not attend the aforementioned training will not be eligible to serve as election staff.

4. Colleagues interested in participating in polling station work should complete the form with all required information, obtain signatures from their unit supervisor, HR supervisor, and the head of their agency or school, and then submit it via fax or email to Taoyuan District Office, Taoyuan City, by August 31 of this year (112/2023) without a formal cover letter.

5. For members of the public or university students, only the applicant's signature is required on the form. For group registrations from public elementary and middle schools in the district, Taoyuan District Office will send out forms for schools to fill out after the polling station locations are confirmed.
