| 2. | The "Taoyuan City Marine Youth Leadership Training Camp" is a camp for elementary and junior high school students in Taoyuan City. It leads teachers and students in Taoyuan to visit and observe the coastal scenery and geological environment of Taoyuan's western coast, experience marine activities, allowing students to understand marine ecology and culture, thereby stimulating their interest in the ocean and fostering them into citizens with marine literacy. |
| 3. | The relevant information for the aforementioned activity is as follows (details in the implementation plan): |
| (1) | Target Audience: Students from 5th grade to 9th grade in Taoyuan's municipal elementary and junior high schools. Limited to 20 participants per session (including accompanying teachers). |
| (2) | Itinerary: Board a yacht at Xuyuan Fishing Harbor, sail along the coast of Taoyuan's Xinyu Green Tunnel to the Tamsui River estuary in New Taipei, and then return to Xuyuan Fishing Harbor to disembark. |
| (3) | Activity Dates: |
| 1. | First session: May 30, 112 (Tuesday) at 8:30 AM. |
| 2. | Second session: May 30, 112 (Tuesday) at 1:30 PM. |
| 3. | Third session: June 7, 112 (Wednesday) at 8:30 AM. |
| 4. | Fourth session: June 7, 112 (Wednesday) at 1:30 PM. |
| 5. | Fifth session: June 13, 112 (Tuesday) at 8:30 AM. |
| 6. | Sixth session: June 13, 112 (Tuesday) at 1:30 PM. |
| 7. | Seventh session: June 15, 112 (Thursday) at 8:30 AM. |
| (4) | Meeting Point and Time: For morning sessions (1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th sessions), gather by 8:30 AM. For afternoon sessions (2nd, 4th, and 6th sessions), gather by 1:30 PM at Xuyuan Fishing Harbor (Sky Canopy Plaza). |
| (5) | Outdoor education is easily affected by weather, and marine activities require consideration of wind and wave conditions in addition to weather. If the sailing is canceled due to weather, schools will be notified of the time change at least seven days prior. |
| (6) | Registration Method: Please have the school representative click on the "Registration Form" (https://forms.gle/MzcfZaTCG4p7yYu5) to register. Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited spots available, registration closes once full. |
| (7) | Accompanying teachers from schools that have successfully registered and been accepted are requested to be granted official (duty) leave for the day of the activity. |
| (8) | Subsidy Items |
| 1. | Transportation and insurance should be arranged by the schools according to their needs, and the costs will be covered by the project budget (each school will be subsidized NT$9,000 for transportation per session, and a maximum of NT$50 per student for insurance, based on actual expenses. Any shortfall must be covered by the applying school). |
| 2. | Within two weeks after the activity concludes, please submit a unified receipt and original vouchers to the Taoyuan City Outdoor Education and Marine Education Center (Address: No. 25, Guangzhou Rd., Zhongli Dist., Taoyuan City 32088) for disbursement. Schools should retain copies for their records. |
