112th "Promoting Filial Piety" Related Competition

| Subject: | Attached are the implementation plans for five activities organized by the Ministry of Education's Department of National and Preschool Education in 2023: the "Promoting Filial Piety" Painting and Comic Competition, the Filial Piety Story Writing Competition, the "Ü Good" Creative Short Film Competition, the "Ü Good" Photography Competition, and the selection and commendation of Action Schools for Filial Piety Education in senior high and below schools. Please disseminate this information and encourage students and individuals who wish to promote filial piety to participate actively. Please acknowledge receipt. |

| I. | In accordance with the letter from the Ministry of Education's Department of National and Preschool Education (hereinafter referred to as the "Department") dated May 26, 2023, Ref. No. 1120065377, and the Ministry of Education's "Heart of Filial Piety" Cultural Implementation Plan. |
| II. | The submission period and target audience for the aforementioned competitions are as follows. Please assist in disseminating the competition and selection information to the relevant participants: |
| (1) | Submission Period: From now until August 28, 2023 (Monday). |
| (2) | Participants for the "Promoting Filial Piety" Painting and Comic Competition and the Filial Piety Story Writing Competition: Students currently enrolled in senior high and below schools nationwide (including the first three years of vocational high schools). |
| (3) | Participants for the "Ü Good" Creative Short Film Competition and the "Ü Good" Photography Competition: Junior high and senior high school group (including students in the first three years of vocational high schools), and the general public group (including university, graduate students, and adults; for vocational high schools, this is limited to students in the latter two years). |
| (4) | Participants for the selection and commendation of Action Schools for Filial Piety Education in senior high and below schools: Senior high and below schools nationwide (including special education schools and vocational high schools). |
| III. | The award-winning works will be announced on the website of the Department of National and Preschool Education's Filial Piety Education Resource Center. The award ceremony date and location will be announced separately. For details, please refer to the latest news on the center's official website. |
