| 1. | In accordance with the Environmental Protection Administration's Order No. 1121046972A dated April 26, 2023. |
| 2. | In line with the Environmental Protection Administration's plastic restriction policy, the scope of restricted targets has been expanded. Effective July 1, 2023, beverage shops in this city are prohibited from providing single-use plastic beverage cups (including petrochemical-based plastics, bio-based plastics, and biodegradable plastics). The restricted targets include tea shops, coffee shops, hot and cold beverage shops, and vendors (stalls, retail). |
| 3. | To enhance the publicity effect of the aforementioned policy, we request your unit's assistance with the following matters: |
| (1) | Please assist in using your unit's public broadcasting equipment to promote the "Taoyuan City Beverage Shops Ban on Plastic Cups Policy" promotional DM (attached). |
| (2) | Please assist in using your unit's LED scrolling message board to display the following promotional text: "Taoyuan City beverage shops are prohibited from providing single-use plastic beverage cups starting July 1, 2023." |
