| Details: |
| 1. | In accordance with the Ministry of Education's letter No. T'ai-chiao-tzu (6) No. 1122702259, dated June 9, 112 (2023). |
| 2. | To implement the National Environmental Education Framework and integrate environmental education topics into the curriculum guidelines for the twelve-year basic education, promote school environmental actions, and practice a net-zero green lifestyle, the aforementioned competition is being organized. |
| 3. | Key details of the aforementioned competition are as follows: |
| (1) | Participants: Elementary School Group (students in grades 4-6), Junior High School Group (students in grades 7-9). |
| (2) | Practical Competition Format: The competition will focus on the five major learning themes under environmental education: "Environmental Ethics, Sustainable Development, Climate Change, Disaster Prevention and Relief, and Sustainable Use of Energy and Resources." Participants are encouraged to propose solutions to environmental issues and demonstrate practical applications and promotion through environmental actions or project outputs. |
| (3) | Review Process and Awards: The Ministry of Education will form a review committee to evaluate the entries in two stages: preliminary and final. Approximately 20 teams from each group (elementary and junior high) will advance to the final round. The top 3 teams in each group (1st place: 1 team, 2nd place: 2 teams, 3rd place: 3 teams), along with several honorable mentions, excellence awards, and teacher cultivation awards, will receive certificates. |
| (4) | Schedule: The preliminary submission period is from October 16 to November 16, 112 (2023), with a written review. The final round is expected to take place in March 113 (2024) with on-site presentations. |
